Letters instead of Numbers for Tables

I want to paint large numbers that are able to stand by themselves on tables (I'm thinking 7"-9" high and about 0.5" thick) but they're not as widely available at craft stores as letters are. I realize I could order them on Etsy or buy numbers at Home Depot but neither of those seem as cost efficient as the letters at craft stores.

Is it weird to have table letters instead of numbers? Has anyone done this? Does it just make it obvious that I went for the cheaper route? lol

No one is going to care. You could have pictures of baby animals just like the parking lot at the zoo so you remember where you parked. It doesn't matter as long as people know how to find their seat.

I think that sounds kind of cool actually! To me, it seems artsy and unique, but maybe that's just because I'm very into reading!

As long as you don't have more than 26 tables and the tables are alphabetized, go for it! You'll probably have people ask if they can take letters home to spell their kid's name.
