any idea where we can get a large ice delivery from?

In-suite reception and I don't think we can get enough out of the ice machine.  Would be much easier if we can have it delivered.

  • Which hotel?

Married in Vegas - June 2011

  • Aria Sky Suites
  • I have the same thought.  Gonna fill the tub up with ice and get some dry ice for ice cream.  We so have to ice cream with the cake!

  • I would be interested in this answer, too.  We'll be at Mandalay Bay for our party and I won't have time to run out to get ice before rehearsal.

  • We are thinking we might just include it in our grocery list. You can get grocery delivery to most of the hotels I believe.

    So you've decided on MB?

  • For the Meet & Greet the night before the wedding, yep.  We got a Vista Suite.   We actually got it for two nights so we can both stay there Wednesday night.  Party will be Thursday and we'll have the day to set it up.  FI will stay there Thursday and I'll check into Venetian and we'll meet up there before the ceremony for some photos.

I talked to Chris over at Masterpiece and he confirmed what I thought about the Executive suite at Aria: Beautiful but a lot of the extra space is in that conference room with the huge table.  He said it's great for putting food on but not so much for having people hang out in there.  The Vista Suite, however, allows for a lot of furniture to be moved around if necessary and just has a better "flow" to it instead of having everyone concentrated in one area.  He didn't think it would be a problem at all to have 50-60 people in a Vista Suite.  Looks like we're going to end up with around 64 people, but hopefully they won't all be there at the same time.  Even so, I think we'll be OK.  Believe me, I researched every option and it would have been MUCH more convenient to be able to do something closer to the other end of the strip since we'll all be mostly at Venetian, Wynn, Treasure Island and Aria.  I just didn't feel comfortable trying to squeeze that many people into a suite that I wasn't familiar with or that was questionable for large groups.  The Planet Hollywood suites would fit our group but they were almost 3 times the price for each night and that was too much for us to spend with everything else going on that weekend.

@dbacksgirl I hear you.  I think I'm at approximately the same count as you and getting worried about the Aria ES.  I'm probably going to end up booking one of the suites at MB but am worried now that I'm not doing the ceremony there for sure, that I won't be about to get one.  I've got rooms all over town that I have to cancel.  LOL.

I'm hoping that building in travel time will break up the flow of folks - since it is Vegas - people will get distracted gambling and the room won't get too crowded at one time.  Here's hoping.
