Today a work friend invited me to join a facebook group she started. . . . . Pumpkin Beer Extravaganza" or something. I thought it would be a party. No, she is just encouraging her friends to try as many pumpkin beers as possible between now and Thanksgiving, posting about what we like and don't like to find the best ones out there. I am so darn excited!! I went to the distributor at lunch to get a few things to try with DH over the next few night.
Any recommendations? I got Coney Island Freaktoberfest and one called RoadsMary's Baby out of Connecticut. I don't recall the third (I am splitting 6 packs with two friends because this beer distributor doesn't have the much coveted make your own 6 pack setup.
UPDATE: When I slit the six packs with a work friend, I think I brought good karma onto myself. . . . leaving work on Friday, a coworker gave me the exptra growler of local pumpkin beer she picked up at lunch (it was an impulse buy) and then the friend I gave the six pack to just returned my reusable bag today with a 6 pack of Octoberfest beers in it!!!!!
