Sash or no sash?

okay Ladies... So I've tried on about 7 dresses or so (only at David's Bridal) but I've searched high and low for a dresses online! I tried this dress on tonight and I love it but I've had my heart set on wearing a sash and I don't know if it works with the dress or not? so I need HONEST opinons! PLEASE!! I do plan on making appointments at a couple of other salons to be sure that this is the one but it doesn't hurt that this dress is only $299!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Honestly i think it looks beautiful without the sash.  I think it still looks good with the sash.  I just like it without better.  Good luck!

I know this isn't really going to help, but...

I prefer it without the sash, but at the same time I love the pop of color that the sash adds.  So I can't really choose between the two.  Sorry!

It looks good either way---so you should choose what you like.

My own preference would be 'no sash', but it is a very pretty dress and $299 is a STEAL.  It just looks a little more classic without the sash.

The dress I ordered came with a sash and a sparkley pin, (that looked like a pearl & rhinestone snowflake--didn't fit the late summer wedding).  Needless to say--not wearing the sash or the pin.

I think it looks beautiful on you both ways, but I personally prefer it without the sash. I think it looks classic and elegant. But the sash does add a fun splash of color! And at $299 - what a steal! I don't think you can go wrong either way!

I really like it with the sash! I like the pop that the color has. Be sure to choose whatever it is that you like, though! :)

The dress looks beautiful on you... and what a steal!! It looks great either way but since you're having a hard time deciding.... I think maybe it depends on the time of day you are getting married and the type of wedding. For an evening, more formal wedding I would say no sash. If its more casual, afternoon, or outdoors go with the sash.

That's an amazing price!  You look beautiful in the dress.

I'm not a fan of the sash.  Maybe a rhinestone belt would fit the dress better.  But I definitely like it better without anything.

I too was thinking a rhinestone belt would look nice. Either sash or no sash will be beautiful.

My vote is for no sash, unless you were to try what the pp said (a rhinestone sash). If your going for elegant and formal go without the sash. Otherwise, if you're having more of a relaxed not so formal wedding, then go with the sash. GL

I like the sash, but I agree with the others that I think a rhinestone belt would add a little sparkle and add a little definition.

I think the sash takes away from the pretty detail BUT if you want a pop of color that is all that matters! GL on your choice!

I think it looks beautiful either way but agree wtih Scrpio421 that it depends on the style of your wedding.  If it's more formal and you really want a sash I'd go for a sash with some bling.  If it's more of a laid back affair the colored sash would be perfect!
