Shower Venue

Hi everyone... Im looking for some help. We are planning a shower for a friend of ours and looking for affordable venue suggestions. We started looking into restaurants but I think it will be too much $ since the costs are just being divided between 5 of us girls (shower for 50+ people). Does anyone have any hall suggestions for the north shore or Waltham/Watertown/Newton area? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Check out small function rooms at either VFW halls or Universalist churches. I've also been to nice showers at The Chateau in Waltham, though I'm not sure if that fits into your budget.

    My shower was at the Radisson Hotel in Chelmsford. It was gorgeous! I'm not sure how much it cost, but I'd guess it was reasonable. Higher ceilings then the usual hotel banquet room, and the food was excellent!
