Engagement Party Tonight!

Hi Everyone!

i'm fairly new  here but it's my engagement party tonight and I'm so excited!  Been such a crazy month since we got engaged that I've barely seen any of my friends (especially since we just got my ring back from being resized a week ago!)  I have a cute dress picked out but wondering what you all wore to your engagement parties?

    Yay fun!  

    I don't remember what I wore, but I it was right after I seriously injured my ankle while climbing, so I spent the evening on pain killers (probably explains why I don't remember what I wore...) and clomping around in a walking cast.  It was....attractive.

    We didn't have an e-party, just a shower. I had picked out a gorgeous grey chiffon dress but I never got to wear it. Oh well, I'll wear it to the theater.

    Love the dress! i hope you have a great time!

    FI and I didn't have an engagement party. Some of our friends, other couples, took us out to the bar the night before Thanksgiving as a congratulatory and let's get drunk kind of thing. I was sooo hungover for Thanksgiving. So I take that back, that was our party. I wore leggings, (fake) riding boots, and a chambray button down with a ivory crocheted cardigan (my favorite outfit).

    Sounds cute!  We weren't going to do a big thing but we are both so busy and its hard enough to have drinks or dinner with any of our friends that we decided to just have everyone meet up at a bar!  Then my Dad (who is SO excited) decided he and my mom wanted to host so now we are having a little party!
