On the news they just showed this couple who bought a house to host tailgating parties for a local highschools football team. They painted the house the school colors, inside and out. Have decorated everything in the theme of this highschool and have pictures of the highschools past and present athletes on their walls.

    This is one good reason to always buy a house in a neighborhood with architectural guidelines and restrictions.  This couldn't happen in my neighborhood - at least, not on the exterior.

    This sounds like an arrest waiting to happen. What happens when all the HS kids get drunk on their property, try to drive to the game and get killed/kill someone else. Hello accessory to murder/corruption of a minor

    I'm not disturbed by the color of the house. I couldnt care less about that. Actually I think it would be cool to live in a purple house. I just think it is creep to be so into a highschool football team that you buy a house to tailgate their games in.

    That's exactly what I was thinking.  You just KNOW even if they try really hard to say "No drinking," High schoolers WILL sneak in booze.  They will then treat vodka like beer because they're dumb.  

    Having a bunch of high schoolers on my property sounds like my worst nightmare, not something I'd encourage in a million years.  I mean, I'm sure high schoolers may have been good kids, and will grow up to be great adults.  But for a few years there, it's like they forget how to be a person.

    I agree. I wouldn't mind a colorful house. My house growing up was yellow brick. I would mind living next to a high school party house. It's worse than a college party house, because cops are more likely to pop up at all hours if they think underage drinking is probably going on. 

    I also agree that it's strange for some adults to be THAT into a high school team.
