It's cold out!

At least, it is here. I went running this morning and was like BRR! Even with long sleeves and a fast pace, I still had goosebumps at the end of the run!

It is really cold here too. I hate Chicago when it's cold and rainy. My go to is usually homemade soup. Spinach and tortallini tomato soup tonight I think

I really want someone to make me those cookies. And I love the Kraft caramels. Too much. I'm sick today, and DH was willing to go get me lunch, but I don't think he'd go shopping and make me those cookies.

Umm, fall food?? Nothing specific. We just stop eating so much salad and go more for hotter foods.

Pumpkin pie with a ton of whipped cream. Hmm, I should make some. But I don't have whipping cream and SO would hate me since he couldn't eat it (he is getting gall bladder attacks and has a giant gall stone, which he is getting removed next week and now he can only eat certain foods).

It's been cold, rainy, and dark aaaaaaaallllllll day here. I'm gonna play ESO, and then watch Coraline, Hocus Pocus, NMBC, and possibly ParaNorman. I haven't seen ParaNorman yet so I hope it's good. I mean, it's a Laika movie, so it probably is.

today is beautiful, clear, sunny and in the high 60's. This morning there was froze on the ground.

The skies are a crisp blue. The trees are all turing colors. The high peaks are snow caped. It's pretty cool looking.

Mmmm that sounds good. I have a recipe somewhere for grilled cheese with kale, caramelized onion, and raclette. It's WAY too many steps to just make grilled cheese but damn, it's good.
