    Nope.  We also have a huge light in our backyard with a motion detector.  It doesn't seem necessary at least that I am aware of.

    Nah.  The only reason I would ever put one up is to be able to see the moment when cars realize there is a median.  I can't tell you how many times the sign has been mowed down.

    We don't.  We do at our church though, I spend a lot of time in the office and it is so funny to watch the people hanging in the parking lot, they KNOW the camera is there, the moniter is right where you can see it in the office, but people still do the dumbest things!  I've seen making out, wedgie pulling, you name it!

    nah.
    But if someone wanted to break into our house, it's super easy because we don't lock up properly.

    However, when I moved in, I did take down the post with a nail in it with the front door key hanging from it.
    You know, because it's secure to hang a key in more or less plain sight, 2' from said front door.

    Someone stole a package from your door?!  Barbarians.

    No, we don't.  We haven't even activated the alarm in the new house.  Every time someone goes in or out, it says "front door," "back door," etc. but that's it.

    @6fsn - our neighborhood FB is on fire with all the rants. They were all "I guess we'll have to start locking our cars/shutting our garages(!!!)" at first, and I've had to really bite my tongue. But the theives are now getting bolder and ARE breaking into locked cars, and they've attempted to steal at least 3 cars in the last 3 days - - right out of people's driveways, while they are home.
