  I didn't even know you could do this. I was going to dry them myself but if it is not too expensive to preserve I would much rather do that.

  I didn't bother, it just seems kinda creepy to me.  The photographs with my bouquet in them are enough for me.

  Holy expensive! $800-$1,500...I am all for making the memories last but that is just ridiculous!

  @Jenn7778 I have been looking on how to keep part of my day with me...and I decided I will dry some of my flowers and put them in an ornament for the xmas tree maybe with a shredded copy of our invites.

  @laur6327 @jenn7778 pinterest is where I found that idea...I am sure they have ton more.  I love keeping things and having a keepsake but I also want to be realistic with my expenses before and after this wedding.

  I didn't think of preserving it until after the fact when most of it had died. It was at my parents' house so I asked them to pull out a couple flowers and dry them.

  I preserved my bouquet and it came out beautifully. It's in a black frame with my invitation. It only cost me like $300. I'm very glad I did it!

  Rf1583 where did you get it preserved? Everywhere I have look has been way more then $300.

  Well I got it done through my florist, Alan & Mininsohn's in Brick. When I booked with them they have me the paperwork and a box to mail my bouquet out to get preserved. This was in 2007 though so maybe the prices went up for this. But at that time I only paid around $300, mailed it out the day after the wedding and that was it.
