I wanted to watch some new show on Fox - you found out it had bad reviews but the British show it's based on had great reviews, so we're watching that and its SO GOOD (Broadchurch, in case anyone is interested). You bought us a bunch of cleaning supplies and a new shower curtain liner and bathmat, and now I'm not embarrassed of our apt. anymore! You take our pup for a run in the field as soon as you get home, so I don't feel guilty about not playing with her when I need to cook dinner. You HATE when I wake you up in the morning, but you never actually get angry, you just act silly,

Dear People who were in my house last/Fannie Mae/whoever got foreclosed on,

Putting fresh drywall over a hole in the wall so it wouldn't be noticeable with carpet and allow the house to be "move in ready"... not cool. Covering up walls with layers of ugly wall... not cool. Cutting holes in main support beams... not cool. Fusing old electric with modern electric causing an extreme fire risk.. not cool. Hiding all of this with drywall, ceiling tiles, and carpeting... incredibly not cool.

OK, so you need to just bite the bullet, turn in the paperwork, and accept that this is going to be your first nursing job. There was a time when you were actually EXCITED about this, remember?? Just because a couple of other people don't want you to start in psych nursing, doesn't mean that it isn't exactly the right field for YOU.

I mean, think about it. There's probably a reason you got your Bachelors in psych, and then narrowly chose nursing school over a Masters in Counseling. It's perfectly reasonable to combine the two in your career; it's obviously grabbed your interest over a number of years.
