So I found out last night that my first choice photographer has booked another wedding on our date. So I have to keep looking. Which sucks, but I know that's really my fault for taking so long in deciding and giving other people time to find her. But what really has me annoyed is two things:
1.) I had to email her THREE times to find this out. I basically had to send an email begging for a response so I could move on if I needed to. I waited over a week to find out that she isn't available. I was starting to think she was hurt or something. I even gave her the benefit of the doubt on my first email getting lost in the shuffle. I really think she gave our date away (after she told us she would let us know if someone else was interested) and then was hoping I would move on without her having to let me know.
2.) When I finally get a response she gives me the "sorry about the delay but I've been away for the weekend". Which is fine if I had just called you on Friday (which I did). But I also emailed her more than a week ago. And again on Tuesday. So obviously you've been on a super long trip! ALSO, you updated your facebook page on Saturday morning. So you can't have been too far away from the internet.
Right now I'm really just glad I hadn't given her any money. She doesn't want to work with us, we don't want to work with her. But a little bit of timeliness would be appreciated. And professionalism.
