I woke up smiling this morning. For whatever reason, I get really excited when we hit an exact month "marker". Now that some of my early morning excitement has worn off (and my coffee is kicking in), I feel like there is so much more to do! One is the one major check that you ladies are itching to take care of ASAP?
For us, it is finding the right officiant!
Happy 7 months, ladies!

The big check that I want to get taken care of would either be finding a videographer (once we decide if we are going to do that or not) or getting the food/cake tasting done!
Happy 7 month mark, ladies!
We finalized our ceremony and reception music on Sunday night. Sent in our choices to the DJ yesterday. Signed our cake/cupcake contract with our baker on Sunday as well. All of our big stuff is booked. My FMIL, mom and I met on Sunday morning to go over the rehearsal dinner plans and the bridal shower (they asked me to be there to help with some stuff, I know the rules of not planning your own shower haha). We picked out wording for our ceremony since we're not having a religious one. We just have to go over it with our officiant and reread and make sure we like everything with it.
My FMIL works for DMV and does the road tests for some limo drivers at American Limo, so she's really become good friends with everyone over there. The owner found out we were getting married and offered us the stretch Hummer limo at no cost! All we need to do is pay for the gas, which is about $200 and then we'll obviously tip them well.
Now we're just working on DIY projects. I think I've got my BM gifts all purchased. I just have to put them together. FI is still deciding on a few smaller items for the GM. We're doing a big gift for both and then smaller items like a beer mug that I DIYed with their initial etched and a money clip that I got from TK on sale. The girls thought chocolate pearls would match the dresses great so I purchased a pearl necklace and DIYed a matching earring set for them. The guys all decided that they wanted to wear DC shoes at the wedding so we'll be purchasing those for them.
I'm hoping to have the invitations and all inserts printed by the end of this week so that we can start organizing them and putting them together a few each night. We've got 140 to do so it'll be tedious.
