Spa products??

Ok, here's the situation. I stalked all of my BMs pinterest boards (an awesome suggestion from you Knotties!) and figured out their style, etc, and bought them each a different purse based on that (on sale at Macy's! Score!). So now I want to put things in each purse that fits each BM's hobbies or whatever. 

One of my BMs has a two year old son, and she just bought a house that needs a lot of work, and she's in grad school, and she teaches elementary school. Whew! So for hers, I kind of wanted to get her something she could use to relax and pamper herself, like really nice spa products, but I can't afford to spend a ton (since I have 4 other BMs to buy gifts for still). 

Can any of you recommend a good brand for these products? Do you have any suggestions on specifically which products I should get? (Like a face mask, body butter, etc.) I'm leaning away from bath stuff cuz most people I know do not take baths... but maybe she would like that? 

Or any other suggestions all together, that has no relation to spa products? I feel like she's been so busy lately, she deserves some really great "her" time, ya know?

    An actual budget could be helpful if you want really good suggestions. If you can swing it, bath bombs from Lush are basically the most incredible thing ever. If you want to avoid actual bath products, they have a bunch of other stuff, too. A while back they had these discs you could throw on the shower floor that would release aromatics and things when the hot water hits them. I don't remember what they're called, though. 

    I'd probably stay away from face masks, because depending on the kind of skin she has, it may be more or less effective (or could even cause breakouts on its own).

    Would you be able to MAKE some?  

    I make an awesome sugar scrub (1 cup sugar, 3/4 cup melted coconut oil and essential oils for scent) from a recipe I found on Pinterest.  You could do a lot more for less if you did something like that.

    I'm bad at setting a budget when it comes to gifts. I'd say $50 per girl for the stuff that goes in the purse but I have a feeling I'll end up spending more than that :S

    There's a small company out of Jacksonville, called Beach Bum Bath & Body (clicky), that I use for myself and used for my OOT bags.  I really love their stuff and so did my guests (a few have already ordered more products on their own).  Their bath bombs are awesome, but like you said, not a lot of people take baths regularly.  DH and I both absolutely LOVE their body butters. We both have psoriasis and it's great for that. Their Hydrotion product line is their higher quality stuff and that Body Butter is thicker and more moisturizing, so I prefer that for our skin conditions, but their other body butters and lotions are pretty awesome too. I also use their lip balm regularly.  I'm highly sensitive to most fragrances and my skin is pretty sensitive to a lot of products, but I haven't had issues with any of their products which is why I like it so much for myself and for gifts.  And they offer free shipping, which is an added bonus.

    Soap and Glory has excellent spa products.  You can find their stuff at Sephora and department stores.  All of their products have a fresh clean smell and it's the same smell for all of the products.  My two favorite products of theirs are their Righteous Butter (all over body butter) and Flake Away (body scrub) when you use these together, whoa.  You talk about soft skin.

    This is a brand I've worked with for a few years: KB Shimmer  Amazing lotions, bath bombs, cuticle oils, sugar scrubs (and some awesome nail polish!)  as well as gorgeous soaps!

    I went to Bath and Body Works for my girls. I got them each a lotion, a body spray, a nail file, a hand sanitizer, and then a bracelet from the Knot. I put all of that in handmade cosmetic bags.

    I think another poster mentioned Lush, and I would have to second that. Even though I was fired from their store for ridiculous reasons when I was 19, I still really like their products. The bath stuff is amazing! They also have really cute pre-made gift boxes ranging from $25 and up.

    Count me as a third vote for lush.  They have a lot of great stuff.  I'd shop there more, but FI's stalker works there and she's really annoying. She knows I'm engaged to him and chooses the "OMG IM GONNA PRETEND TO BE YOUR BFF TO HIDE HOW MUCH I HATE YOU" course of action.

    Girl, order that shit online! So worth it. 

    FI's city has two stores and it drives me up a freakin' wall because one has a ton of bath bombs and an OK selection of other stuff, and the other one has a ton of other stuff and very few bath bombs. And they're not exactly close to each other. Grr.

    I remember when Lush was only in Canada. We went to Canada to shop there lol. (This was back in the 90s). Then they built one in Chicago where my sister lives and I thought she was gonna pass out from the excitement of it all. 

    Thanks for reminding me about Lush, Knotties!
