Just got an email from my son's high school.

The subject?

"Hose an Australian Exchange Student."

This is an unfortunate typo. I am seriously cracking up. I may compose an outraged reply, just for fun.

They love it when I email them.

Technically, there's no spelling error. It's a grammar error.

One of my colleagues in grad school once sent an email (to the entire program including incoming students) and signed it:

"Kind retards,

Jane"

Obviously she meant "Kind regards" but failed to proof-read before hitting send =/

Hmm. I would think spelling hose instead of host would make it a spelling error.

Nope. Not hosing a student. Or hosting one. One teenager per household is as much as I can stand.
