Hi everyone!
I just had a meeting yesterday with the couple that I'm working with to plan their wedding in April 2015.
I talked with the bride about dress ideas; she doesn't want a traditional wedding dress, and is planning on simply purchasing one off-the-rack (I emailed her a variety of options that I found on the Saks Fifth Avenue and Nordstrom web sites, including some pretty maxi dresses in spring colors). The ceremony and reception are going to be very laid-back and simple, so she wants to keep it easy and fun, and is open to most colors and lengths.
My question is, if she's planning on buying the dress from a department store, is it necessary to get it this early? I'm thinking that when spring styles come out in January-March of next year, there may be something that she likes better, though there's no guarantee. She mentioned going dress shopping locally this weekend.
