Bridesmaid Fashion

Hi Everyone!

I have been killing myself with stress over the bridesmaid attire. We are having a very formal (Almost) Black tie (Everything except live music during reception) at a very old hotel in San Diego (The US Grant). Originally I wanted each girl to get a formal evening dress each different but complimentary to the others. We looked and shopped and found many nice options, however the main issue is the girls budgets. They want to spend about $250 which is no small amount, but when talking about nice formal wear has proven to be almost impossible.

So I have had to adjust my expectations and my plan to start looking at more dresses that are made specifically for bridemaids. This still has not proven to be easy within budget because it seems all long dresses are priced minimum at $250 and go up from there. Maybe it is the area we are in but DAMN!

Anyways, I did find this Jenny Yoo convertible annabelle dress and thought it looked pretty and they can still do a little of the mismatch thing. My only concern is it formal enough.

The tulle makes it romantic and my dress also has a tulle bottom so I like that, but I am concerned it may be more boho than formal.

What do you ladies think? Is it formal enough and does it look good with the dress I bought for myself?

It would be in the blush color.
