    From what I understand, this link has everything you need. I still don't know how far in advance it needs to be done. I think some previous threads say only a month to a couple weeks out, maybe?

    Our wedding is this coming Saturday. I sent in our permit in August. I heard back this weekend from the officer confirming our police escorts (required and $325) and confirmation of our parade route. I did it early just so I could have things done sooner rather than later since there's so many other things to coordinate. We have to go pay it before the wedding day and we pay both police escort and application at that time--a money order for each one. I did hear some people do this the week before a second line. Theyll tell you when you submit your application that you won't hear from Sgt. Powers until a week before. When you do, he sends you an invoice and a map confirming your route. No parades through Jackson Square. Good luck! :)
