What size heel did you wear and did you change into flip flops for the reception?

Mine were more then 3 inches and I did NOT wear flip-flops and I did NOT regret it for a moment! I loved my shoes and I bought ones I knew were well made and would be comfortable.

What if you didn't change into flip flops but didn't regret it? I'd guess you'll lose a lot of answers because you're assuming that anyone who didn't change must have regretted it.

But even so, my answer doesn't appear here -- I did change shoes, and regret it.

I wore 3.5" inch heels and changed into 2.5" wedges (not flip flops) for our cocktail hour (which was on grass, so stilettos would have made things difficult, so I really had to change for at least that part). I forgot to change back into my other shoes, and regret it. In the pictures from our reception, you can tell that my dress is a bit too long because it was hemmed for my heels. Also, I'm sure I did not look as graceful walking in wedges rather as I would have in heels. It is hard (for me at least) to walk in clunky shoes without looking like I'm walking in clunky shoes. I try not to dance in flip flops because I feel ungraceful doing so. I feel much better barefoot, honestly (except for the time that I cut my foot on a broken bottle while dancing barefoot at a wedding).

2.5 inches, didn't change, did not regret it.

I wouldn't have picked a pair of shoes for my wedding if they weren't comfortable.

I bought 4 inch heels...plan on wearing them the whole time. FI is about a foot and a half taller than me so I need the height!

I wore flats all night!

They were beautiful & I was so comfortable, so no need to change into anything else.

That's why I put other. It wouldn't let me to THAT many answers. I figured if their answer wasn't on there they would let me know.

i wore flats and did not change into flip flops at all

i would think if you have your dress hemmed to heels, when you put on flip flops your dress will be too long

I know I'm crazy, but I plan to wear my 5 inch heels all night. Of course I wish the heel was a little lower, but I am totally in love with these shoes (open toe, a perfect shade of purple, and it has a small crystal-y thing on it). I just couldn't pass them up!

mine were about 1.5" (i just voted the 1" option) and wore them all night. i brought flats just in case becase they were a little tight, but the next size up was too big. if my heels were any bigger i would have been taller than the groom!

oo i did wear a 2nd pair of shoes tho (briefly)... i wore white furry boots w/ a wedge for outdoor photos
