I am looking for a videographer that is not incredibly expensive in the Chicago area. Does anyone have any referrals?

Not sure about the rates they are charging but we had commissioned Pogi Video to do our daughter's birthday party and they were reasonable (caveat - we only needed them for 2.5 hours). I like the work and methods they did on the wedding SDEs I saw and at the time they were still students learning their craft. Worth a look....

I would recommend the cinematographers we used for our wedding but they are out of the wedding industry and pricey - they won a few emmys and are now doing primetime documentary film and other corporate work like for the NFL. Glad I was able to get them before they made the jump!

You could also try Vanilla Video! They price everything a la carte. For me I don't want a "wedding video", just some professional filmed clips, so I am requesting the ceremony, first dance, and speeches to be filmed, it should cost bout $600.
