Can anyone recommend a Kosher caterer?

I know there are a couple in the area but I have no idea which ones are recommended.

Re: Can anyone recommend a Kosher caterer?

  • Are you looking for strict kosher or kosher style? We're having a kosher style wedding but will need some glat kosher dishes (pre-wrapped) for some relatives. Relatives have used Creative Kosher Catering (Squirrel Hill) in the past.

We're using Rania's Catering (www.raina.com) for kosher style. They can make kosher meals too - we'd just have to bring in the rabbi to kosherize their place :) Check her out here: http://www.rania.com/. We also met with All in Good Taste Productions and they can do kosher style to.
  • We need strict kosher.  I'm not sure if we need the actual rabbi in the kitchen, but all the pots and pans need to be kosher.

Was the food at your relatives' weddings with Creative Kosher good?
  • I didn't have the actual food served at the wedding (they had kosher-style options from a different vendor), but I did have Creative Kosher's food for other events at the wedding (sandwiches, salads for the day before the wedding). Nothing to write home about, but good!
