Looking for info on Valley of Fire Weddings

I got engaged back in May and my fiance and I have decided to go to Vegas to get married! I want to have the ceremony at the Valley of Fire with close family and a few friends. I have looked at some packages but not sure if I want to go that route. I was wandering if anyone has planned a ceremony at the Valley of Fire without using a package and what all they included and who they used for different vendors.

Congratulations on your engagement! I can advise on the valley of fire as we had our wedding out there in July - I booked a package though, why don't you want a package?
  • I will more than likely use a package. I have found one that I think I really like. I was just wandering what other options there were.

    Which package did you use?

  • We booked with a special memory wedding chapel, we had the limo collect us, we booked an additional limo for our guests, (8 of us in total) we had grooms buttonhole, my bouquet, wedding cake and champagne for the toast included plus our photographer to take some photos. They even arranged to collect the groom and the guests at a separate entrance so that I could do the big dress reveal! It was by far the most affordable and enjoyable way to spend our day, they made it so easy. I highly recommend talking to Irina as she was excellent (we arranged from the UK). Our allocated photographer - Chris, then came with us on a photo tour to the Las Vegas sign, mgm grand, Luxor, tropicana and bellagio fountains and dropped us back to the hotel in time to change for our evening reception (maggianos) It was very hot, 45 degrees Celsius so I think that's about 115? We had a choice of three places to have our actual ceremony and chose 7 sisters. The ceremony was lovely, didn't feel generic and didn't really notice the heat - we were dreading after watching YouTube videos of valley of fire weddings that it would be similar. A truly amazing experience, we couldn't fault them. Which company/package are you looking at?
  • I got married at the Valley of Fire last April and we used Scenic Las Vegas Weddings. They were great to work with. Melissa was so awesome for the ceremony and Trey was good for the photos. They obviously have a system to keep things running smoothly and it ran like a well oiled machine. We had 50 people come down with us so we booked 2 busses from LD Tours to bring everyone out. I also used Pam from the Palette for flowers and had our reception back on the strip at Maggiano's. Oh and I had Harmony for my make up and she was an angel, I love that girl!

  • I was originally looking at vegaswedding4u.com. How many guest did you have? I'm afraid I will have more than 20 ppl and will have to pay extra. The package I was looking at was for up to 50 ppl. Also did your pictures turn out good? I am a picture fanatic and want the best photographer!
