Help Las Vegas Wedding Ideas

Hi
Me and my partner are getting married in may2016 were coming from scotland, I'm looking for some advice on chapel and reception. We are 25 and 26 abd we have 30 guests coming over with us. I am looking for a pretty chapel which Is quite central to strip and not over priced I really like the idea of getting married outside with flowers. I want s full package with flowers and photography etc, For the reception im looking for somewhere with a pretty room that's private. I like Italian, Asian american mostly any food really. And we like to party after, I'm looking on spending 4000-5000 dollars for the ceremony and meal, has anyone any ideas were I could look into

  • Check out Platinum Hotel. They have awesome all-inclusive packages and have been awesome with responding and answering my millions of questions.

  • We're also travelling to Las Vegas from Scotland to get married, having the ceremony and reception at the Eiffel Tower Restaurant, they've been great to deal with so far. Are you taking or hiring kilts?
  • BTW what time of year are you getting married? I originally wanted an outside ceremony until i read a post on here about the heat, didn't want our guests passing out on us!!
  • We're getting married in May. We're just going to hire kilts when we are in vegas at kilt hire usa only 205dollars for kilt package so will be easier and cheaper than bringing kilts over from Edinburgh. I think I have too many guests to get married at Eiffel tower there is 30 of us coming over so far.
  • also coming over from Scotland next year to get married in Vegas - look at Chapel of the Flowers at the moment! congratulations!!
  • I would also look at 702weddings they have great packages.  They are also great to chat with
  • I'm getting married at Vegas Weddings chapel (702weddings), has been easy to work with but the surcharge is a bitch (19.1%!!). My package is the Romance package, both wedding ceremony and reception, it is $1899 but with surcharge comes out to $2262. It's more bc I added more things but that was what we were paying prior to upgrades.

  • Have a look at http://www.sceniclasvegasweddings.com/
We are getting married May 2015, they have different locations to choose from and they do all inclusive packages...
Melissa has been very kind and helpful, she replies straight away to emails (considering time difference, I am in Spain, so we are 9 hours ahead of Vegas)

Keep in mind, that most of the hotels/chapels charge a lot extra for the rights to the pictures they take, I have seen on TK that some people have been charged up to 2000$, you only get a few printed in the packages..

Congratulations & good luck with the planning :)

Thanks everyone. I quite fancy the chapel of flowers so just need to find a good reception venue now with good food and music
  • I'm getting married in Sep 2015, around 30 of us coming from Scotland. I luckily got to tour around chapels last time we were in Vegas & picked Aria. We are thinking of Mon ami gabi for dinner. Look at Maggianos, they look to do good reception packages & seem pretty reasonably priced. I would have chosen them but wanted to keep everything within walking distance. Good luck!
  • Flamingo has a chapel - they are right in the middle of the strip. Its just be re-decorated. packages are reasonable.
