Dress dilema...

So I found my wedding dress, but have been thinking about wearing a seperate reception dress, after our first dance.




I love my dress (above on model) but I'm afraid it will be a little big, and may get heavy throughout the night. It would also be easier to get into a car without a tulle ballgown, and I would not have to worry about crushing it.

So my first question is what do you think? Should I wear my dress all night or change into a reception dress after first dance?

AND secondly... I found this dress that I love for a reception dress that I have been debating about getting, plus buying a colored crinoline to go under it, but I just found out that it also comes white (I was originally going to buy it in black). I'm not really a white kind of girl, but I'm also thinking that it is my wedding day... So what do you think?

    I voted for wear the wedding dress all night. I really like it, and for sure it will be in the way at times and be uncomfortable, but I still don't really like it when brides change their dress! Maybe because I want a chance to see it up close later on! However, if you haven't actually bought the gown yet, you might consider just going with the short white dress for the whole thing - super cute!

    I voted wedding dress all night.
    You can wear a short white dress all summer long, but you will never get the chance to wear a beautiful white gown again (hopefully :P)
    consider how much you spent on this beautiful dress.. you really only want to wear it for an hour? why did you pay so much then..
    I love the idea of the reception dress but I just cant do it myself... I love my wedding dress and want to feel elegant and liek "The Bride" all night long.. I think a shorter white dress will take that away....

    You're dress is beautiful! If I was wearing it, I'd want to show it off ALL night! I voted for wearing your wedding dress throughout the evening. You will probably only be getting in an out of the car a handful of times, and then at the reception will probably be standing/dancing more than sitting. Just my thoughts.
