And I'm sad

I totally understand why. We have an 80% chance of snow on Saturday and she has about a 4 hour drive to get here with my Uncle. At the same time though I'm 1% irritated because this side of the family is typically non-involved in things like weddings so I should have known that just because they RSVP'd yes didn't mean that they were going to absolutely show up. I was super pumped that they were planning on coming too....wahhhhhhhhhh.

Ok. sad moment over.

Good news is we decided to get a videographer last week so now I can make grandma feel guilty when she watches the video of her baby granddaughter get married! haha! just kidding...sort of

I'm sorry hun! My grandmother missed my wedding under similar circumstances too. I was sad, I was the first grandchild whose wedding she missed. But I knew she felt bad about not being able to go. My mom asked her closest sister and brother in law to sit in the front row with her and my dad, and it was an honor to have everyone who came be there.

I feel you - my grandma said she wasn't going to come if there was bad weather. Our weather turned out great, but it wasn't a good feeling hearing her say that.

I understand too. My grandparents live in FL and my grandpa has said he probably won't come (we're in IN). I think my grandma could convince him but he doesn't like the hassle of travel and doesn't want to deal with it. of course it makes me sad but at the end of the day I can't make him travel up here if he doesn't want to. Grandma will be coming though and she was there when I first tried on dresses so that was fun at least.

It's a bummer to find out close family can't make it. My uncle and his family will miss my wedding since it's my youngest cousin's hs graduation day...oops. But enjoy what is sure to be an amazing wedding day and know she'll be excited to see your video!
