Re-dipping E-ring

FI and I got our bands recently and I noticed that my e-ring already isn't as shiny underneath compared to the back of the band. (I've had it over a year.) I did some googling and saw that you can get your white gold re dipped in rodium plating every year or so. Have any of you done this? Do you know how much it costs?

We have ours in a package so i can get mine dipped whenever, but I think they told me it was either 25-40 dollars at Jared. You might try getting it cleaned (no idea what that costs) I got mine cleaned last night and it was like new again and it was so dirty and dull!

When we were looking at bands at Jared, the salesperson there said they re-plate rings for about $30-35.  I can't remember the exact price. They will do rings purchased from other stores as well.

We got my e-ring at the Diamond Cellar and they "re-dip" it whenever you want, for free (not sure if they do it for rings not purchased there).  I go in usually every 2-3 months to have them clean and check the diamonds, and they have dipped me twice now.

My e-ring was also purchased at the Diamond Cellar. They do both of my rings for free since they were purchased there. I get them cleaned every 6 months but only dipped as needed. They told me not over 2x per year. Usually one is good if you are careful and take your rings off or wear gloves when doing cleaning, etc.

They do mine on the spot. It only takes about 15-20 minutes depending on how busy they are. I haven't ever had an appt.

OMG I didn't know this!!!  Both times I have had it done, they just did it without me saying anything.  I'll make sure the next time I go in, I will say something.

DC is awesome, totally helpful.  I get all my jewelry there so I'm not sure how non-DC jewelry works, but they take care of you.  Just bring it in anytime, you don't have to do the every 6 month thing (like other stores such as Kay/Jared, etc), so timing is as needed not based on some silly warranty.
