Should I get a different dress?

I am really having second thoughts on my dress. I bought the dress several months ago and felt good in the dress at the time but now I am so worried I made the wrong choice. Any opinions on the dress?

Re: Should I get a different dress?

  • What's do you think is wrong with it? Are you subconscious because it accentuates your curves? If you're not confident in it, I suggest sell this one and put the money towards something you feel more comfortable in.
  • Why do you feel like you made the wrong choice.  Is there something specific about the dress you are questioning or are you questioning the entire thing?

My suggestion would be to go back to the salon where you bought it and try it on again.  Go alone so you don't have people giving their opinion because the only opinion that matters is yours.  Make sure your makeup is done nice and your hair looks good, this way you will get some idea of what you may look like on your wedding day.  Also, have you tried a veil on with it?  Sometimes a maybe dress can turn it a "this is the one" dress by simply adding a veil or a hair piece or even some jewelry.

  • I think it looks fantastic on you. I second Maggie's suggestion of going back to the salon to try it on again. Sometimes when we are looking at pictures we over-analyze everything, maybe getting back into the dress will help you remember why you loved it in the first place.

  • You look amazing in that dress, IMO, but what it is that you are questioning about the dress?  Are you able to try it on again?
