GM! Hope everyone enjoyed the beautiful weather this weekend - esp yesterday!

Friday DF and I travelled to his hometown in central PA. Saturday I spent the day shopping with FMIL, FSIL and my flower girl - they wanted me to go with them to get some things off our our registry (kinda awkward!) and then to help FSIL (who is a BM) find her shoes for the wedding. we struck out in that dept! Sat night we took FMIL out to dinner and Sunday we headed back to the burgh to spend time with my fam.

Today we are mailing out the invites over lunch! YAY!

    Good morning.  I had a nice relaxing weekend; which was needed after my crazy week.  We got our wedding pictures back last Thursday.  I can't believe we got them back in less than a week.  I must say Paul and Cyndy Meyer are the best!

    I went to a local winery with some of the Phillly Knotties on Saturday.  Yesterday we just hung out and relaxed.  I will be in Pittsburgh this weekend for a friend's wedding, so we will be doing Mother's Day this Sunday. 

    DB-  That's exciting you are sending invites out.  Are they coming back to your address?  That made getting the mail so exciting for me!

    Good morning!  I am not in the mood to be at work today at all.  Friday FI's parents wanted to try Burgatory in Aspinwall...it was highly rated, but I thought iwas just ok and pretty overpriced.  Saturday I got my Mom's dress for my wedding.  She picked thisone, and I think she looks hot!  Sunday we did the Race for a Cure in the morning and then had my parents and FI's parents over for a cookout in the evening.  And of course, I listened/watched the Pirates game and was so excited they're at .500.   I shouldn't be this excited, but I love the Pirates so much, and its nice to have even a little hope.

    Amy - SHOW US YOUR PICS!  How was your wedding? 

    DB - how exciting to send out your invites!  Your wedding will be here before you know it!

    Morning ladies!!
    Wow, I've been so busy at work - thank goodness this deadline was today and I actually have a minute to breathe! I had a wonderful weekend... went home to pittsburgh for final wedding appointments and meetings and we got a lot done!

    Saturday morning, my mom and I met with my priest and signed the necessary papers. We then went to my hair trial (will AW in a separate post!) and my dress fitting! It fit PERFECTLY!!! So excited! Right from there we went to meet with the photographers - I absolutely adore them! I seriously CAN'T WAIT to have them photograph our wedding and RD!! And..... 19 days for me! I can't believe this!!!!

    Yesterday we did the race for the cure in the AM which was super fun, then we all went to dinner for mother's day at Carino's - overall a wonderful weekend!!

    morning ladies!

    I'm still in NYC, about to get a bus back to boston.  I managed to get my visa, celebrate a friend's birthday, see FI, and surprise my mom for Mother's day - it was a great weekend!!

    amy - PM me! I want to see pictures.  And congrats :)

    Amy - your pictures are lovely!!! You looked gorgeous and it looked like such a fun time!! I especially love the picture of you, your DH and your bridal party in front of the arched brick openings!! Great shots!! :)

    Amy - so exciting that you got your pics back so soon! the invites are coming back to my address - i had to do it that way because i would call my parents daily if it went to them.. and i know i'll do a better job tracking than my mom!

    mrads - love the dress your mom picked out! so hot!! we also listened to the pirate game on sunday( while outside).. im trying not to get my hopes up too high about them.. but i too love baseball and really want them to do well!

    g - going over to read your other post now! saw some of your Race for the Cure pics on FB - looked like such fun! i was going to do it this year with my mom but DF wanted to see his mom this year on mothers day too soooo i wasn't able to do the race.

    md - what a productive trip to NYC so fun!

    Hi Everyone!

    So despite being a lil' crippled this weekend, I still managed to relax and get out in the sunshine a bit. The FI grilled out some burgers, and we went to DSW so I could get some new flats (as that's all I'll be wearing for a while). We also had an exciting adventure in the grocery store with me in the wheelchair. My MRI was on Saturday, which went well, although it was difficult for me to stay still since I'm such a fidgeter :-)

    db- Yeah for invites being done!!!

    Amy- definitely want some pics! Can you PM me too?

    GMC- Send me a pic of your hair! It sounds like you had an eventful weekend. Hard to believe it's only 19 days away :-)

    md- Glad you got your visa so quickly. Are you getting pretty excited yet?

    Mrads- I am excited for the Pirates too! I am really trying not to get my hopes up though. I would love to see them do well this season. And your mom's dress looks awesome!

    Good Morning Everyone!

    I had a great weekend!  Spent time with my mommy.  Love that.  Was dissappointed that OUTrageous bingo was sold out for next week.  Tried to spend time with the FI but I have to keep my distance because he is covered in poison ivy.  It is hard enough when you travel for a living but when you are home and cant touch the FI, that is really depressing.  Got my best friend to boot camp on Saturday morning at my gym - had a great time getting my self in shape.  Unfortunately the weekend, like the next five will be, was cut short as I am working in NYC and have to leave every Sunday afternoon.  Come to work today and find out that one week I may just be flying to NYC, then to Dallas/Chicago/or Denver for two days, back to NYC, and then home.  Oh the crazy life I lead lolWink

    I also booked an appointment at Kleinfelds while I am in town here.  I just have to try the experience - within my budget of course.  My grandma laughed and asked if I had a $20,000 budget like some of the girls on that show. 

    Mrads - I agree about Burgatory in Aspinwall... just ok and pretty overpriced.

    sarilynnep - I am jealous that you were grilling.  The FI needs to get the water fixed at our renovation project aka the married house before I can start grilling there again as we work.
