Weather question

Hey girls! I am planning on having my wedding at Cairnwood Mansion and I am curious what the weather is like the beginning of november? I really want an outside ceremony but I am not sure if it's going to be to cold. Or would the end of Oct be a better choice? Thank you!!

It depends.  I went to a wedding on October 24 last year.  It was outside and gorgeous and the weather was great.  1 week later, I took engagement pictures outside, and I was freezing!! It was gloves and winter coat weather.  If you get lucky, it can be nice out.  If you're not, it can be freezing.  No guarantee either way, during that time of the year.

The weather is pretty similar to LI. So, whatever you would get at home that time or year is what you would get here, just a few degrees warmer.

Like PP said, it really depends.  I've gotten sunburned at football games in NOV and I've also froze to death.  Weather is not something you can "plan" on.  Esp a transition month like Nov.

Does your Venue have a back up ceremony site?  Even though my wedding is the first week in Oct, it could still rain... and then we'll have it in the tent.

Thanks for all the help. Yes our venue does have an inside area for a ceremony but we also have the option for heaters. So we decided to book Nov 3 and just do from there :)

I'm getting married there Nov. 27.

I'm hoping it's decent weather so we can have it outside, since the ceremony is too long.
