Hello Knotties!
So, here's my dilemma... I have weird shaped hands. Due to a genetic "deformity" (one really can't tell until staring at or holding my hands,) my knuckles are bigger than the rest of my finger. My ring finger (go figure...) has the most dramatic difference, with my knuckle comfortably being a size seven and the base of my finger being approximately a size five.
The current solution to making my ring fit has been to size it down to a 6, force it over my knuckle with the aid of lotion or windex (try it, it works...) and then to have it slightly loose at the bottom. I have a Wal-Mart plastic ring adjuster on the bottom to make it work for now. Eventually, when the wedding band is welded on, it will have beads in the band that will help it to go over the knuckle, but my wedding (and the wedding band) are 10 months away. Any ideas for how I could make it fit better with something more permanent than a plastic spacer? Or is that my best option for now?
