Engagement Party Thank You Notes and Save the Dates..... Can I send them at the same time?

I had my engagement party last month and I'm sending out the thank you notes (I know they are a little late, my mom couldn't find the addresses), but now my save the dates came in and I'm just wondering if it's okay to send them at the same time.... not in the same envelope. Would it be tacky to receive them at the same time? I don't want to offend anyone more then I already have with being late.

If they are in separate envelopes, I wouldn't side-eye in the slightest. Just seems like you were saving a trip to the post box.

Agreed! As long as they are mailed separately, it's just a matter of coincidence that they were mailed at the same time. Knowing the folly of the USPS at times, it's completely possible that they will arrive on separate days!

Agree with the PPs. separate envelopes but you can send them at the same time.

I would drop the thank you notes, then a couple days later drop the STDs.
