How was the weekend?

Friday night was Bunco with my awesome new friends.

Saturday was cooking and cleaning.  MIL and sFIL showed up for dinner with a Christmas present for each kid.  They had effing Browns shirts and "needed" to give them before the season ended.  They also like to pretend the gifts are from Santa.  Whatever. I'm over them. We did have a good dinner.

Sunday at 4 am M2 came in saying her ear hurt.  9 am we were the 4th car in the lot waiting for Urgent Care to open.  She had a raging ear infection.  11:30 the first of the party guests walked through the door carrying their own flavored water.  Party started at noon.  It was an awesome party though.  Max slept the first part, but woke up for presents and cake.  I did this y'all.

    You rock, 6.  Also---I'm glad that M2 knows well enough to just march in and you got her taken care of before it was too late.  I hope she's feeling better.  And YAY for a party success!

    Petty party of one- Usually I pack up cake for the people that couldn't make the party. I didn't even offer it for sFIL. 

    I'm still kind of amazed how many people ended up here. We had 34 people!  We went through so much food and wine.

    Okay, I'm just gonna put this out there...did you mean "pity" party?  Because if so...this is up there with KNAI.  Hee

    Also, you're nice...so nice that you offer cake to people who can't make it. I'm always of the the "you snooze, you lose" category.

    I actually did mean petty in that I was being petty in not offering cake to him simply because he chose not to come.
