Flat wedding shoes

Having a hard time finding flat wedding shoes wedding is in Hawaii and heels wont work. Where else can i look ?

Major shoe retailers for have a smaller (maybe 4 or 5) flats or sandals that would be wedding appropriate (like Macy's, David's Bridal, Zappos, Nordstrom, etc. But do a google shopping search for wedding flats. A lot of options come up. People are making some gorgeous ones on Etsy. Also try Jcrew and BHLDN. Haven't looked there in a while but they may have something.

If your wedding date permits, wait until late Feb. Between the cruise wear needs, and the spring shoes coming in, the number of nice flats available will be 10 times what stores carry now. Many small local bridal shops carry but don't advertise flats in all shades of white and ivory, often silver and gold too.

Have you considered a modest wedge sandal? My wedding was on grass at a horse estate, so I selected a mid-height wedge with a horsebit detail over the toe.

Not some crazy platform, something that is a cute, sensible, wedge sandal? I own this shoe (different color) from J. Crew. It's a nice summer staple. You'd be able to wear it again.

Zappos is always my go-to when it comes to shoe shopping. They have oodles online and free shipping and returns and 365 days to make the return. Not sure if you wanted sandals or close-toed, but here are some ideas from Zappos (images should be links).

PP posted some good options. If you're looking for something maybe a little dressier than sandals, I considered buying these Betsey Johnson flats before I decided on heels. These might be a good option if you're not going to be standing directly on sand.

I've seen them in several department stores in different shades (ivory, blush, silver) and apparently even David's Bridal carries them.

It really depends on what style you're looking for. I got some awesome ballet flats from Tieks to change into. They are pricey but super comfortable.

@aggiespartan I have looked at Tieks but balked at the price... I have a pair of low wedges for the ceremony but am debating a pair of Tieks for our reception. I'm tall and awkward in anything with a heel, so I'm dying to find a pair of flats I can have for the reception. Tieks actually carry my big ass foot size (11 or 12) so I'm super tempted!! ah!

@tcnoble they are super comfortable and when you get them, you can tell they are quality. I was really afraid that I would get the package and be like "this isn't even worth $50" but that wasn't the case at all. Should I have spent that much on a pair of flats? Probably not, but it was a splurge and I will wear them until they fall apart.

For comfort on your wedding night, I don't think you can really put a price on that! I am definitely going to have to consider that splurge...
