We're mostly all girls here so I wanted to ask a question. I'm a little less then 4 months out to my wedding and looking ahead I am suppose to get my monthly cycle 2 days before the wedding!! Just my luck. Im on birth control and thought about just skipping the placebo pills and going directly to a new pack but when I've done that in the past I've had spotting here and there in the weeks that followed. Are there any other alternatives? Should I go see my obgyn for advice? Thanks for the help. I'm sure Im not the only one dreading this.
Re: This may be TMI, but...
2 days into your cycle doesn't seem really that bad. depending on when your honeymoon is, it'll also be really light or ending by the time you settle in.
there are worse things that can happen to a bride.
i suggest the diva cup. really.
[QUOTE]This question never ceases to amaze me, even though it shows up at least once a month. (<--ha!)

[QUOTE]It's not just the hassle. I never feel 100 around that time, bloated, cramping, etc. I rather not have to deal. I think I'm going to make an apt with my gyn just to be sure. Also looking into the diva cup now. Sounds interesting.

<div>psst - they are joking about the diva cup.</div><div>
</div><div>And yes, there are a ton of options, including skewing the cycle with birth control (ask your gyno - not internet strangers without medical credentials - how to do that) or medicating the symptoms during that time. </div>
[QUOTE]i'd rather get the period early than skip it and have it come late. i usually feel my best about 7-8 days into a cycle.

<div>Better yet, get the 3-month pill (or depo-provera, or mirena, or something else) and skip it entirely around the wedding.</div>
