H and his brother hasn't seen or heard from their father in years. (Their mom passed away years ago.) BIL asked a friend who works for the state to find their dad, and he succeeded. BIL spoke to their dad for the first time in years a couple of nights ago, and gave H their dad's information. It turns out their dad lives about 20 minutes away! H called his dad and spoke to him tonight for the first time in about 6 years. They were talking and laughing, and it really warmed my heart. H has been trying for years to find his father. I told him he just got an awesome early Christmas present.
