I'm wondering what the general opinion might be if I don't have any floral decorations at my reception. Would anyone side-eye this?
My wedding is next October and I am mostly leaning towards non-floral decorations such as candles, scattered silk autumn leaves, and pumpkins. We're also having a big wedding and I'm interested in saving money on centerpieces (again using lanterns, candles, pumpkins, etc.) I'm not a big flower person and the thought of spending a small fortune on flowers isn't something I'm interested in, though I would obviously pay for my bouquet, the bridesmaids' bouquets, and boutonnieres. Just wondering if this is okay.
Thanks!
