Las Vegas kid friendly?

We want a venue in LV with views of the strip which is kid friendly yet will serve alcohol at the reception. The casino venues won't allow this and we're on a limited budget. Planning this from out of town so cannot view before booking. Does anyone know a pretty place like this? Thanks!

    Ask this on the local Las Vegas board. This one's international, so many people here can't help you with a local venue question.

    The only way you're really going to be able to pull that off is to have a reception in a hotel suite. 

    I suggest the Vista Suites at Mandalay Bay. We had our reception in one, and we had great views of the strip. We were able to buy our own alcohol, which saved us a ton of money. We had Masterpiece Cuisine cater the food. The suite holds about 40-50 people.

    Try private resturants that are within casinos. The other option is to go off the strip slightly.
