I can't stop listening to The New Basement Tapes.  I'm obsessed.  I watched the documentary about it when we were in California and it's awesome.  Basically they found a box full of Bob Dylan's handwritten lyrics from the late 60's and had Elvis Costello, Rhiannon Giddens, Taylor Goldsmith , Jim James and Marcus Mumford get together and lay down the tracks, each choosing how to record the songs and collaborating and it's freaking amazing.

    Earlier "California Love" by Tupac and Dr. Dre was playing. Not sure how that fits into today's hits but I got my ghetto white girl chair dance on.

    Apparently TK and Spotify don't get along.  I was gonna share my playlist with you guys, but oh well.

    My current playlist includes Selena Gomez, Hozier, David Guetta, Beyonce, Robyn, etc.  Lots of pop lately.

    I've been blasting the shit out of Fall Out Boys "Centuries" since I downloaded it before Christmas.

    I wish Guettas "dangerous" would get more airplay here.

    Has anybody ever heard of or listened to the Vitamin String Quartet? I randomly discovered them when my fiance and I were looking up wedding processional songs. They put a clasdical spinonfamous songs and they are amazing!
    In fact, we were thinking of having their cover of Sweet Child Of Mine by Guns and Roses while the wedding party comes down and then either Somewhere Over the Rainbow by IZ or the Vitamins' cover of You Look Wonderful Tonight while I come down. That was actually my FI's idea. He said that would actually tear up and he wants me to have a grand entrance, which I actually don't need.
