AW: engagement pics

I don't love them. Our zoo offered a free admission day on the day we had scheduled the shoot, so that made it difficult to get good shots. I've also put on about 40lbs in the last 2 years, so it's hard seeing that documented. Just provides more motivation to get my butt back on the treadmill. Luckily, our photographer wants a do-over as well so that we can get more shots of our faces. We'll probably be doing that in late spring. But anyway, these are the best of the bunch.

I think they look awesome. What a great backdrop. My favourites are the send one (with the jellyfish) and the one with you two behind the waterfall.

Your pictures are beautiful! I love the last two.

When I first got mine back, I was super critical of myself--thought I needed to lose more weight, thought the angles weren't flattering, etc. I put them aside and looked at them again over the course of the next few days and finally started to look at them less critically. It's hard to look at our own pictures if we're not 100% comfortable with what we look like. You both look happy and in love!

While the zoo provided some cool backgrounds (I LOVE that second one with the glowing jellyfish!), I really prefer the ones outside that setting (especially the last one, so beautiful). I'm glad that you're getting a do-over if you're not 100% happy, but even still, I can tell from these you two are a gorgeous couple!

Love your pictures!!!!!! We visited the zoo that day, aquarium, big cats, gorillas are our favorites, penguins being number one. Your backgrounds are amazing, even with the crowds.

Yeah I agree with PPs, I mean I get the whole "I've gained weight and it's hard to see myself in pictures" thing but those pics are seriously awesome. The jellyfish one and the one behind the waterfall are my personal favs. Also love the one of you two outside with the Christmas lights.

I really like the jellyfish one, and the black & white one! You're beautiful

Is there any other reason your photographer wants a re-do? We're all saying these are lovely photos, because they are--- but if there is anything else that's an issue, like if you think there is poor composition or poor lighting on the rest that you didn't show... I honestly think you may want a different photographer for the wedding itself. Regretting your wedding photos is awful and engagement photos are certainly a test-run.
