Yay! Old age strikes, and it's good!

For months I have been preparing for our trip to the other side of the world!  I have been telling myself for months that our flight leaves on Sunday.  Well, senior moment!  It leaves on Monday!  I get to watch the Downton Abbey new season premier!  Yay!  DH has been running around the house in control freak overdrive.  He is in shock.  "You mean I have a whole extra day to pack?"
It's nice to know that when I make a stupid mistake, it turns out well.  My poor cat is freaking.  He saw the suitcases come out!

    Where are y'all going?

    That's funny about the cats. My dog loses his mind when the suitcases come out. I have to lay everything out on the bed and wait until the very last minute to pack it OR lock him out of the room and then hide the packed bags in the closet.

    Nope.  The Sapphire.  Sorry to say, the old Pacific Princess is gone.  There is a new ship with her name, though.  Which one did you sail on?
    My favorite dessert is always "The Love Boat Dream".  (Chocolate mouse in the shape of a heart, drizzled with more chocolate.)  Who needs booze when there is chocolate?  OK, I plan to have some drinks, too!

    That sounds like so much fun! I would love to go to Thailand someday. When my dog sees the suitcase come out, he tries to make a break for it every time I open the front door.

    Also, I'm way behind on Downton Abbey.

    We went in 2012, so it was the current Pacific Princess.  I think I need a bigger ship, or drugs if we do a cruise again.  I get seasick apparently.
