maggie sottero britannia ombre dress help!

I fell in love with this dress but I am apprehensive about the ombre. Has anyone worn it in the ombre? Or ordered it in all ivory? I would really appreciate any pictures from your big day if you have either. I am getting married in August and need to make my decision ASAP! Thank you in advance.

I think the bigger concern with a dress like that is not how recent brides feel about it, but whether you'll still like the look of it 10, 20, 50 years from now in your pictures. I know a lot of people who are already over the ombre trend. But many other people aren't at all concerned with looking dated in their photos, and just want to love their look on the day of. That's a personal preference.

i am less concerned about the trend and more concerned with how the dress photographs and fits. i am interested in seeing where exactly the color falls as I tried on a much larger size in the store and how dark it appears in photographs. thank you!

Aha. Well just keep in mind that how something looks in a photograph depends a lot on the lighting, photographer, and post-production editing, rather than just on the dress itself (or the size of the dress). My dress was a champagne color but looks nearly white in most of my pro pics. In cell phone snapshots it looks much darker. Anyone else's pictures will also be impacted by your own monitor settings.
