We're going to look at a venue this weekend! Yay!
It's an old, historic chapel on campus in Auburn. It's well within budget, which is fantastic, but it's a good bit larger than what we really need. It seats a total of 90, and we'll have a little less than a third of that if all goes to plan. I'm withholding judgment on whether it will be too big or not until we see it, but it's something to be aware of. I'm also concerned about whether or not my questions will get answered. I've been trying to get in touch with the reservation staff since late October, and just today got a person on the phone. I mean, granted it's on campus of a university with 25,000 people in attendance, but I still would have liked a call back to one of my voicemails.
I'm still really excited about it though. Hopefully everything will work out okay with it and we'll get it booked.
