Save the dates! (show em' off!)

I ordered my save the dates. Not sending out until after the holiday though. They are post cards and have our wedding website and city, full names, etc on the back side.

I got 100 for $20 including shipping.

let's see yours!

Yours came out great!! I'm slacking and didn't even order mine yet.

We haven't ordered yet because we're still waiting on a contract from the venue (we have a date held, but we're not taking any risks until it's on paper!), but we're deciding between ordering simple STD's with our engagement photos (when we get them done) or DIY-ing flower seed packets stamped with our date and venue as the STD's.

    Yours look super cute!

They are not us and the info isn't us, but these are our save the dates. They are magnets because FH wanted magnets. They are at my house now, just need to address them. I'm sending them out after the holidays.

Tiffany, Where did you order from? I got ours from vista print, and they're terrible. Print quality and color are so off, they were cut crooked. They suck. I got a refund, but now I have to order new ones.

Everyone's is so cute! I went back and forth on having our photo incorporated-- but ultimately we wanted to go for more of an old school feel (our theme is rustic art deco) so this is what I came up with. It will be printed on kraft cardstock.

Oh, and I will hole punch the number, month and year!

@rusticbride27 I love the seed packet idea! Very clever.

Mine turned out as expected from Wedding Paper Divas. I was worried because sometimes when professional pictures are printed the colors turn out different.

I love all of your Save the Dates, @morgpie I haven't seen any like that and think they are adorable!

We keep putting off our engagement photos because our schedule has been crazy and since I am using them for our STDs I haven't even started and the goal is to get them out by next month! :/

I'm excited for ours! I was talking to a friends husband about how disappointed I was with the product from vista print, and he offered to have them printed for me at no cost from his work! He works for a direct mail printing company. I get my proof on Friday! I must say, everyone's look wonderful! I can't believe we're only 9 months out!

We decided not to go with the seed packet idea after all... but we will probably do that for our favors! So ours STD is still very much a work in progress--I designed it myself. This is a rough draft! (I'm going to re-draw the laurel branches... I know they look sloppy right now, lol.)

We're going to print them on a tan cardstock and wrap them in lace doilies and gold ribbon. Still trying to figure out the most cost-effective way to print them... professionally, or on our home printer. Any suggestions?

Here are mine! I ordered them from Magnet Street - it was about $100 for 75 of them with envelopes, return address stickers and seal stickers. I didn't get as good of a deal as you guys did! I should've shopped around more, lol.

I've spent today printing the addresses onto envelopes on my own computer and I'm actually really happy with how they came out.. I thought it would look cheap but FH talked me into it and I downloaded an awesome font to do them in. Had lots of issues figuring out HOW to address them, whether to include "and guest", children's names, etc. or save all of that for the invitations. But they should be going out this week!

We ordered ours from I DO! Magnets. Our reception is at a baseball stadium so we went with the ticket theme :)

Our save the dates came in yesterday! I designed and drew them and we ordered them from CatPrint. Will probably use them again with our invites! They were great to work with. :)

Slightly edited for privacy reasons. I actually designed these myself and we had them printed by a friend of a friend, who did them for free as a ridiculously nice gesture on beautiful pearlescent paper.

Here's a pic of ours... edited out some personal info as well. We got them off of Wedding Paper Divas as well. We plan to order our invitations from Minted though because of the free addressing service Minted offers.

We did our save the date as YTMND. If you're a fan of video games, you might appreciate this:

It feels like forever ago when I made these.. it is cool to see them hanging on friends and families fridges.. even though I don't think I have seen one that actually used the stickers...

These are the reason I will not do anything else arts and craftsy again....they were fun and cute for the first two, 110 later I was beyond over gluing putting magnets in their perfect little spot! But I still love them!
