Has anyone considered doing a cruise wedding? My partner and I plan on getting married October 2010 and were planning a wedding where we live (Las Vegas, NV); however, as costs started to exceed $15,000, I thought of how crazy we would be to spend that kind of money on one day. We started thinking of alternatives and thought of a cruise wedding. We could bring all of our immediate family (16 people including us) AND pay for the ceremony and luncheon reception on the cruise ship, and the cost would only be around $8,000. This would be for a 5 day cruise to Mexico. Anyone ever consider doing this?
