Cheap photographer

Does anyone know of a good photographer for under $1000? We've been looking for awhile but can't find anything.  I have a friend from work who will do it for $1050, but for only four hours.  I don't want her to do the reception or anything, but with all the formal pics, and wanting to go to a few places around the city as well, I don't know that four hours is enough time (mostly because of driving).  What do you guys think?

    Check out Dana Schoppe!  She is really close to that price for all day- she is great and takes wonderful pics as well :)  My FI and I are using her, loved our epics, and excited about working with her for our wedding day

    I second Dana.  She shot our rehearsal and rehearsal dinner.  She's fantastic to work with, has an infectious personality, and does great work.

    Imagen International (imagen by alex) is 1075 for the full wedding day and two other photoshoots.   We did engagement pics already and we're going to do something with all of our siblings.  HTH!

    I would recommend Sarah CIccone.  She has been really wonderful to work with!  For 8 hrs of shooting on the wedding day, an engagement session, and rights to all images, we are paying $800.

    We are using Render Photography, our e-pics are in my bio. With all that we're doing, 2hr e-pic shoot, 2hr after wedding shoot (sometime next summer) and 6hrs day of with an assistant was right where you want to be at that 1K mark. She is just getting out on her own, she worked with another company. This is her first year of launching her own business so prices are super cheap.

    We are using Pavelena Photograpjhy. They are in the $800 price range I believe.

    I second Render Photography! Britt's prices are insanely low and her work is beautiful, you can get a great deal. We also met with Sarah Ciccone and she was very sweet and her work is great. I would definitely check them both out.

    I booked Sarah Pollio. I love her work! We are paying $900 for 8 hours. We found her on craigslist, so we got $100 off of the total cost of $1000 for 8 hours. It is $750 for 6 hours. I would check out her site!
