Names of SOs on Save the Dates

Hi wonderful knotties,

I am addressing the Save the Dates and had a question.  Do I need to put the names of the SOs of my cousins, or would "guest" work?  This is probably an obvious questions so I apologize for my ignorance on this subject.

    I would put the actual name of the persons SO.  Now if you were inviting someone who is single, you can just address it to them and then decide if you want to give them an "and guest" when it is time for invites to go out.

    What about the ones who are dating, but not engaged?  What if something happens between now and then and they break up?  Would that be the same thing?

    If they are in a relationship (dating, engaged or married) then the SOs name goes on the STD.

    If they break up between now and the time invites go out (this can happen with engaged and married couples as well) then you send the invite to the person (or persons) who would be invited to your wedding regardless of their relationship status.

    For example.  If you are friends with Mary and she is dating Russel, Mary would get invited regardless if she is still with Russel.  But Russel would only be invited if he is still with Mary. Make sense?

    Also, if you are friends with Debbie and Rob and they happen to be in a relationship but unfortunately break up before your wedding, then you will send them separate invites since you would have invited both of them regardless of their relationship status.
