Veil weights?

I just purchased a veil that I am in LOVE with -- cathedral length, hand-made lace border. I might even love it more than my dress. Several friends have recommended veil weights, but the only ones I have seen are pearls or crystals. Any advice on where to look for something that will disappear into the lace? Thanks!

Are you getting married outside? If not, then weights are really not necessary.

But if you do use the pearls or crystals, you would most likely use them towards the bottom of your veil and unless they are freaking huge or someone is up close and looking specifically for the weights then I doubt they will be noticeable, especially when added under the lace edging of the veil.
