which bracelet?

which bracelet matches my necklace better? If i went with blue earrings would it throw everything off?

Re: which bracelet?

  • Can we see a picture of your dress?  In my opinion you're on the edge of being overly blingy for my taste.  But, perhaps your dress needs that... So if you could share a pic, that would help.
  • I'm a big fan of having one statement piece and keeping everything else simple. But depending on your dress, you can get away with more big accents.

  • I like the second bracelet to go with the necklace. Not sure about the earrings because the size of them can make a huge difference. I have to agree with the other PP that all three together may be too much, especially depending on how my bling you have on your dress. If you can get these pieces from a place that you can easily return, or at least don't cost a small fortune then you can always get it three pieces and try them on with your dress and take a photo and see if it looks like too much. I know I didn't make my mind up for what I was going to wear until the morning of my wedding while I was getting dressed. I had two options available thanks to all the options and very affordable prices at a local accessory store.
  • Probably neither.  Coco Chanel once said to take one thing off before you leave the house.  You don't need costume jewelry overload.  Sparkly hair clip/headband/whatever, and necklace, and bracelet, and earrings...it's too much.

Even if your dress is simple, edit, edit, edit.  Don't put on everything just because you can.  Pretty earrings and bracelet maybe.  Necklace and everything else simple.  Nix a sparkly headband if it competes with necklace, but a clip could be okay if only seen from back, etc.
  • This  is the dress i went with
  • Honestly, I agree with PPs here. I would just stick to the statement necklace you already have. Too much bling IMHO.

And I would not do the blue earrings with that necklace. I love the style of them, but think it would look MUCH better if the stones were white - not blue.

  • Given your dress, if you have the necklace already, do the necklace and stud earrings. I'd either skip the bracelet or pick something simpler.

If you don't have the necklace, skip the necklace, do either bracelet and white earrings. I don't like the blue with that bracelet or dress.

  • Seeing the dress, I'd skip necklace.  you already have jeweled details near your face.
  • I agree with the PP. skip the necklace. that's just too much "bling" in one area. one of those bracelets and a pair of earrings would look just fine!

Agree. If you can, take the necklace back or not buy it. I like both of the bracelets, but probably would go with the one with the clasp as opposed to the cuff because I like a slightly snugger fitting bracelet.

  • Please return this necklace.  I don't like it on it's own...and with this dress it's horribly wrong. The most you should do is a small diamond pendant.  I wouldn't do the blue earrings, just something simpler that is just diamond.  At that point I think you could do either bracelet.
  • I agree with PPs. Please, please, please do not wear that necklace. It's way too costume-like on its own. Plus, your dress has such pretty detailing on the bodice, so why take away from that? I also wouldn't do a bracelet at all. If you really want to wear one, I'd go with something much daintier. Honestly, if it were me, I'd probably just wear earrings. I wouldn't do any color, just simple crystals or CZs. I think you can have your earrings be more dramatic, and that can be your statement piece.
  • Now seeing your dress, do the bracelet and some earrings & skip the necklace, everything together will be too much.
  • Skip the necklace.  Nine times out of ten a wedding dress does not and should not be worn with a necklace.  Especially such a large statement necklace like you chose.

I would wear the second bracelet and the earrings pictured.  But other then that I would keep any other accessories (hair/veil) to a minimum.  You want yourself and your gorgeous dress to shine, not having it compete for attention from your accessories.

  • You don't want to go overboard, or get lost in all the bling! Also, you don't want too much going on because it could take away from your beautiful dress! I say you stick with either 1) the necklace and go with simple earrings, or 2) statement earrings and a bracelet. I wouldn't go with all 3
