So my city has this thing called The Wonderful Wedding Show, and I went yesterday.
They had Randy Fenoli from Say Yes to the Dress, and I heard he was great but I missed his presentation.
They had all kinds of vendors and fashion shows and stylists there doing hair to show off their skills. It was pretty amazing.
Things I learned:
People actually put birds in cages above their tables, which makes me gag a little because birds fling poop out of their cages.
Brides love cake samples.
Limo buses are VERY expensive.
Some vendors can be ridiculously pushy.
My venue's prices went up by like, 20 bucks per head.
Magicians are a new trend at weddings.
Since our wedding is in April, we've already booked a lot all of our vendors (that's a new realization for me, and it's scary) so I guess I just went for the experience, but in the process entered a TON of contests for free honey moons, the chance to win $10,000.00 and I played Plinko and got $200.00 off our DJ so it was totally worth it.
Side note: Thousands of brides in one room - no thank you.
