I see this board has no active post! I am April and getting married in February of 2016!!! I would like to meet other brides getting married the same time! Post about yourself and your wedding style and any tips or tricks that could help us other brides!


Our colors are Purple and a accent of Mint! We are having our wedding at a garden vintage house! Its so beautiful and dreamy :) Can't wait to hear from all you other brides!

    Hi, I'm Sara. Getting married 2.6.16. Nice to meet you.
     Our theme is "Romantic Geek." A lot of tradition mixed with geeky elements. Our colors are TARDIS blue and silver. FI and the GMs are having action figures on their boutonnieres, other geek/nerd elements thrown in here and there.

    Hi Ladies! I'm Sabrina! My fiancé and I  are planning a 2.27.16 wedding.

    We live in south Florida and feel that beach weddings are over done, since we live close to the beach. So we're doing a Winter Theme with silver and ice blue colors.

    That's as far as we've gotten. LOL

    rockin30ish Hello there Sara! I love that theme and idea! Very cool. Me and my Fiance are very into nerdy things as well. However our thing is Batman!!!! :) We will have hints of Batman throughout the wedding!

    @april&amanda Nice to meet you!! Yes, FI is going to have an Ironman action figure. I'm looking into having Ironman on my garter (the one I keep). We are also going to have elements of Harry Potter (kids' table) along with the superhero and Doctor Who elements.

    I have attached one of our engagement photos :) She was wearing a Batman shirt and I was pretending to rip off her shirt!!! :) We love Batman and most comics and especially video games!!! image

    Hi! I'm Kayla and Sean and I are getting married on 2/28/2016. We don't have a specific theme but we are incorporating travel into our wedding. We are thinking dark blue and gold with hints of red for colors, but don't want it to look like a patriotic theme so we're flip flopping a little.

    I know nobody has posted on here in awhile, but I just got engaged a few weeks ago!!  Our wedding is 2/20/16 in Santa Ana, CA (Waverly Chapel) & the reception is in Westminster, CA (Westminter Manor).  We booked everything almost right away...(it helps I was sort of planning the wedding before he actually asked!  Lucky for me, he liked my ideas!)  Our colors are emerald green & blush pink...no specific theme, but we just want a good, fun time with those we love.  I think we're mostly done with everything.  Still looking for a photog we like and doesn't cost a small fortune.  Got our venues, florist, dress, wedding coordinator, a good friend of mine is a custom wedding invite designer, so he's doing our invites for free as our gift, and we have both our reception dinner and cake tastings, as well as our engagement photos in the next 2 weeks!  We have to do the hotel room block soon too - we are woefully behind on that.  But, my FI is originally from Canada, so we're going to have a lot of Canadians flying in for the wedding.  

    Where are you guys at in the planning?  Hope everytihng is going great for you all!

    It's sad that there aren't a lot of February 2016 posts!!  I'm a New Jersey bride and I'm getting married 2/19/16. Our colors are all neutrals, blush, ivory, and nudes.  I can not believe how fast everything has gone!!  We have basically everything done.  We just need to finalize things with our florists as far as centerpieces, buy our wedding bands, finish getting our bridal party and family gifts, and do little things like our hotel welcome bags and our seating board.  I'm addressing all my invites this week, we're sending them out early, probably right after Thanksgiving to avoid them getting lost in holiday mail!!  I feel like there are still so many little things to do, gets me a little stressed at times!!
